- To empower rural communities and the poor.
- To promote and facilitate growth of industries which help in economic well-being of the rural communities
- To promote the awareness of government initiatives, policies, procedures, laws, schemes, etc targeted at the rural communities and the poor.
- To help with knowledge acquisition through various communication medium including television, radio, internet, print., etc by setting up reading rooms, computers, etc.
- To introduce rural communities to the latest and best practices on agricultural farming.
- To promote education among the rural communities and the poor through economic assistance, seminars, workshops, awareness, campaigns, etc
To preserve and encourage local traditions, heritage, art, culture and best practices. - To facilitate the creation of self-help groups among the rural communities and to partner with micro-credit and knowledge organizations to support self-help groups.
- To promote awareness and give guidance to rural communities on their legal rights and duties.
- To partner with the government and its agencies in undertaking and implementing its community development schemes involving the rural resources.
- To network and associate with non-profit, non-government and other such organizations, welfare groups, national and international development agencies.
